Something we see often in this industry is clients come to us with a myriad of skin concerns, and our goal is to help set those clients up for success by recommending targeted home care to help them reach the skin goals they're seeking and achieve long-term skin health.
As licensed estheticians, we spend a good chunk of our time studying formulations and product lines, curating retail to carry in our place of business, and understanding the physiological changes those chosen products can have when utilized correctly. For ethical practitioners, products are recommended out of a desire to help, not a desire to sell.
It's a Two-Way Partnership
No matter the number of products a client goes home with, we want our clients to feel comfortable and confident in their new routines. And we enter into a partnership of sorts, where expectations go both ways.
From us to you: If your skin is feeling uncomfortable or irritated when beginning new products, we want to know as soon as possible so we can help troubleshoot. Sometimes a routine requires tweaking for the individual — not all skin is the same, and not all skin responds to ingredients the same way.
From you to us: Communicating concerns to your esthetician is important, but it's equally as important to have patience and stay consistent with your products. If a product doesn't feel comfortable right out of the gate and you give up after only a week or so of use, you're never going to see those positive changes in your skin — and that can feel frustrating for everyone.
Why Results Take Time
It has to be an understood partnership: we are absolutely here every step of the way to help you adjust to a new routine, and any new routine is going to take time to deliver desired results. The skin is a very complex organ, and just like most skin conditions do not occur overnight, improving those conditions will not occur overnight either.
Having that patience can be the most difficult part of the client journey, but we promise it is always worth it.
